The current listing and admission to trading regulations of SIX Swiss Exchange correspond, in terms of content, to a wide extent to the requirements of FMIA.

Our approach

Listing:

Based on the assessement of SIX Exchange Regulation, there is, from a substantive point of view, no need for revision of the regulations of SIX Swiss Exchange due to the entry into force of FMIA regarding the listing of:

  • equity securities
  • collective investment schemes
  • bonds
  • derivatives and
  • Exchange Traded Products.

Admission to trading:

Based on the assessment of SIX Exchange Regulation, there is, from a substantive point of view, no need for revision of the regulations of SIX Swiss Exchange due to the entry into force of FMIA regarding the admission to trading of:

  • international equity securities in the SIX Swiss Exchange sponsored foreign shares segment
  • investment funds of domestic or foreign issuers approved by the Swiss Federal Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) in the SIX Swiss Exchange sponsored investment fund segment
  • international bonds
  • international bonds on SIX Corporate Bonds
  • delisted bonds of domestic and foreign issuers.

Authorisation to trading (SLS):

The assessment regarding SLS is ongoing.
