SIX Swiss Exchange-Sponsored Foreign Shares Segment

Admission to trading of international equity securities in the SIX Swiss Exchange-Sponsored Foreign Shares Segment.

The trading segment SIX Swiss Exchange-Sponsored Foreign Shares Segment allows SIX Swiss Exchange participants (sponsoring securities dealers) to trade equity securities (without collective investment schemes) of foreign issuers with primary listing on a stock exchange that has equivalent listing provisions and is recognized by the Regulatory Board on the SIX Swiss Exchange trading platform, without having to go through the listing procedure. Furthermore, the sponsor undertakes to fulfil obligations relating to reporting and maintaining the listing and to ensure market making. The sponsor or market maker acts exclusively as the counterparty; the issuer of the equity security is not itself involved.

Admission to trading in the SIX Swiss Exchange-Sponsored Foreign Shares Segment is therefore not a listing as defined in the Listing Rules. There are no disclosure obligations.
