Tradable securities

Under the Listing Rules, collective investment schemes refer to units (or shares) in Swiss and foreign collective investment schemes that, in accordance with the Federal Act of 23 June 2006 on collective investment schemes (Collective Investment Scheme Act, CISA), are subject to the supervision of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA or that require a license from FINMA to be sold in or from Switzerland.

The following collective investment schemes may be listed on SIX Swiss Exchange under the Standard for Collective Investment Schemes:

  • investment funds
  • real estate funds
  • Exchange Traded Funds (ETF)
  • Exchange Traded Structured Funds (ETSF)

ETF may be actively or passively managed.

Collective investment schemes may be set up by contract law or as an investment company with variable capital (SICAV) based on company law.
