New Rule Book
The new Rule Book and related Directives will replace the SIX Swiss Exchange General Conditions and
the Transitional Rule Book for Blue Chip Trading, as well as their related directives,
with effect from 1 April 2010. The new rules are clearly structured, harmonised and updated.
The SIX Swiss Exchange Rule Book governs the rights and obligations of SIX Swiss Exchange and its participants and traders.
It is based on the principles of the Swiss Federal Act on Stock Exchanges and Securities Trading (SESTA) and
includes rules on the following:

admission of securities dealers as Exchange participants

organisation of trading
-
clearing and settlement of trades on the Exchange

monitoring and enforcement of the Rule Book as well as the sanctions the Exchange
may impose on participants and traders
