Sanctions

If the rules laid down in the Rule Book of SIX Swiss Exchange respectively Scoach Switzerland or in the Directives are breached, Surveillance & Enforcement (SVE) or the Sanction Commission may pronounce sanctions against the participant or trader concerned.

The procedure for the investigation and sanctioning of participants and traders is laid down in the Rules of Procedure.

Pursuant to Section 19 Rule Book of SIX Swiss Exchange respectively to Section 18 Rule Book[pdf] Scoach Switzerland, the following sanctions may be pronounced:

I. Against participants

• Reprimand
• Suspension
• Expulsion
• Suspension or revocation of permission for proprietary automated applications (only regarding Scoach Switzerland)
• Fines and/or contractual penalties of up to CHF 10 million

II. Against traders

• Reprimand
• Suspension
• Revocation of registration
