Agreements

Upon entry into force of the Rules of Procedure, SIX Exchange Regulation acquired the authority to conclude, by entering into an agreement, certain sanction proceedings against natural and legal persons for violation of the Listing Rules, the Additional Rules and the related implementing provisions to which those persons are subject.

Among other things, agreements are permissible if, as a result, relevant information can be provided to the public faster or more fully than would be the case with a sanction proceeding concluded in the regular manner.

Agreements are published in the form of a media release, which discloses at a minimum the relevant area of regulation, the key facts of the matter, the content of the agreement and the identity of the parties concerned. Media releases concerning agreements that are older than three years will no longer be shown.
