2.5 Statute of limitations

¹ No sanction proceedings may be initiated if the alleged violation of rules and regulations of exchanges which are regulated by the regulatory bodies of SIX Group Ltd was committed more than two years in the past.

² No further sanction may be imposed if more than two years have passed since the initiation of sanction proceedings. Sanction proceedings are deemed to have been initiated when the investigative bodies take action against the Parties Concerned as described in Point 3.2 para. 2 and 3.3 para. 2. If the investigative bodies have issued a sanction notice or the Sanction Commission has arrived at a decision before the end of this two-year period, the statute of limitations will no longer apply, regardless of the legal enforceability of such notices or decisions.
